If you are interested in and have the patience for reading actual legislation, here are links to copies of the two bills--the Senate bill, passed in late December 2009 and the reconciliation bill that enabled the total package to be passed into law on March 23, 2010. However, beware of reaching conclusions on the full Senate bill before seeing how the reconciliation bill may have modified it. For this reason, we suggest that you read the summaries provided in the next section, which consolidate the provisions of the two bills.
